Limit in Sedalia. Team managers or other interested parties who would like to see a change or changes to the Missouri ASA Code should contact their district commissioner in order for the proposal to be considered. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- DANIEL RESIGNS AS STATE UIC AFTER 24 YEAR STINT KERMIT DANIEL has announced his retirement from the Missouri ASA State Umpire In Chief position, effective December 31, 2010. State Commissioner Joey Rich has confirmed JACK WALKER, Albany, as the new state UIC. Mr. Daniel, a member of the Missouri ASA Hall of Blue and Hall of Fame, as well as the National ASA Indicator Fraternity and Medals Program at the GOLD level, has served as State UIC since 1987, except for a brief absence in 2005. Daniel has served as National Tournament Umpire In Chief more than a dozen times, and has also served as ASA National Tournament Representative several times. DANIEL announced his retirement during the Boys and Young Men's National Tournaments held in Rolla on August 4-8. Mr. Daniel has been involved in softball in some manner for more than 40 years. He will be sorely missed and very hard to repace. We wish Kermit every success in the future!!
