Missouri Boasts 2009 National Champions
The Northwest Royals are national champions in Boy's 10 and Under Fastpitch. The Royals won five straight games, outscoring their opponents 59-2 and holding opposing hitters to 6 hits total in the tournament, which was held in Mankato, Minnesota. Members of the team are: Winston-Craig Lewis, Jacob Lewis, Austin Rhoades, Jordan Leonard, Morgan Farrell, Stanberry-Cole Craig, Cory Luke, Coach Randy Luke Conception Junction-Ben Jermain, Grant Meyer, Coach Tim Jermain, Maryville-Alex Bean, John Zimmerman Fairfax-Brody CooperBrian Lewis (batboy), Coach Eric Lewis. Last year's NW Royals team won the 10 and under played at Brandon, South Dakota.
